Overview

Cowboys Beauregard Decker and Virgil Blessing attend a rodeo in Phoenix, where Decker falls in love with beautiful cafe singer Cherie. He wants to take Cherie back to his native Montana and marry her, but she dreams of traveling to Hollywood and becoming famous. When she resists his advances, Decker forces Cherie onto the bus back to Montana with him, but, when the bus makes an unscheduled stop due to bad weather, the tables are turned.

A high school bus on its way to a retreat blows a tire and stops at the nearest ranch for help. The driver, five troubled students, and their ridiculous gym- teacher chaperone find, instead, criminals who will stop at nothing to make sure their drug operations aren't discovered. Marisol is a girl of 16 who, accompanied by her father, is singing from place to place, to put food in their mouths. They end up going to a camp site in Mallorca, where the girl meets two students from Madrid, Tony and Mario. Marisol wants to become someone great, and to achieve that, she performs at a bullfighting tournament as a singer, in the hope that someone will see her.  Mr. Morrison and Miss Nelly notice her. This man puts his expectations in Marisol,  but to do that, he takes her away from the environment she has lived in until then. That way, he will get the world to consider her "a lady with great talent" (her voice), which is what she wanted in the first place.
